The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in applied behavior analysis and demonstrate a commitment to improving the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities, particularly children with autism. The BCBA will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing ongoing support to clients and their families.\nDuties\nConduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations and assessments to identify behavioral challenges and needs.\nDevelop individualized treatment plans based on the principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA).\nImplement behavioral therapy techniques and interventions tailored to each client's unique requirements.\nCollect and analyze data to monitor progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans.\nCollaborate with families, educators, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to client care.\nProvide training and support to staff on behavioral strategies and interventions.\nMaintain accurate medical documentation, including patient records, intake forms, and progress notes in compliance with HIPAA regulations.\nEngage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in behavioral health.\nSkills\nStrong knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques and principles of applied behavior analysis.\nExperience working with children, particularly those with autism or other developmental disabilities.\nProficient in data collection methods and analysis for tracking client progress.\nFamiliarity with special education practices and working with individuals with disabilities.\nExcellent patient care skills, including patient assessment abilities.\nUnderstanding of medical terminology, medical records management, and documentation standards.\nAbility to conduct intake assessments effectively.\nStrong communication skills for collaboration with clients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
