APP Hospitalist
We're searching for an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) Hospitalist, someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you'll provide high-quality, comprehensive inpatient care to adult patients in a critical access hospital setting. Responsibilities include admitting, assessing, diagnosing, and discharging while managing a wide range of medical conditions in collaboration with the hospital team. Think you've got what it takes?Job Duties & ResponsibilitiesPerforms thorough histories and physical examinationsOrders and interprets diagnostic testsDevelops evidence-based treatment plansWorks closely with providers, nurses, and ancillary staff to ensure safe, coordinated patient careManages admissions from the EREvaluates and manages transfer admissionsSupports bidirectional patient flow with Dartmouth HealthAssesses potential incoming transfersCoordinates care management and discharge planning with interdisciplinary teamsPerforms general inpatient hospitalist duties, including rounding and dischargesMaintains accurate documentationCommunicates effectively with patients and care teamsAdheres to hospital policies and clinical best practicesSkills & RequirementsPrior hospitalist experience strongly preferredCandidates with residency training in Family Practice or Hospital Medicine may be consideredVermont licensure required (position may be held while obtaining VT licensure)Flexibility with scheduling needs, days or nightsStandard schedule is approximately 32 hours/weekCompensation range: $71-82/hour
