{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"67c9ed4128ce6b618cd33a0e","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/67c9ed4128ce6b618cd33a0e","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/67c9ed4128ce6b618cd33a0e","title":"QUALITY CONTROL ENGINEER","description":"Job Description\n\nJOB SUMMARY\nUnder the direct supervision of the Quality Director, the Quality Control Engineer evaluates the Quality System and the manufacturing process to provide information for quality improvement by monitoring, testing and reporting on the quality of materials and products.\nESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS\nPromote and support the requirements and principles of the Precise Quality Management System and AS9100.\nCompile and submit product qualification packages using various customer formats (i.e. APQP, HPQP, PPAP).\nSubmit and manage SCARS and waivers using customer software and computer portals.\nManage the receiving inspection process.\nPerform final review for Harris RF parts.\nDetermine and implement quality improvement parameters by identifying statistical methods relevant to manufacturing processes.\nDevelop sampling plans by applying attribute, variable and sequential sampling methods.\nPerform internal audits.\nKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES\nWith limited supervision and quality work ethic, functions as a member of a customer-driven quality team whose goal is to ensure that product quality requirements established by the customer have been achieved.\nMust be self-motivated and take the initiative to complete tasks.\nKnowledge of the PPAP, APQP and HPQP processes, and their documentation requirements.\nAnalytical and observation skills.\nDecision making skills.\nAbility to discern variances in detail work.\nKnowledge regarding quality requirements and standards prescribed by our customers.\nExcellent written and interpersonal communication skills.\nGood problem-solving abilities using systemic, logical and sequential approaches.\nProficient computer skills with an aptitude in Excel, Word and statistical software.\nKnowledge of ISO /AS9100 requirements.\nEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE\nMinimum 5 years of experience\nExperience in technical troubleshooting\nExperience with ISO/AS9100 requirements\nExperience in PPAP/HPQP submittals\nJOB BENEFITS\nVacation\nSick Days\nHolidays\nHealth Insurance\nDental Insurance\nVision Insurance\nLife Insurance\nVoluntary Disability Insurance\n401(k) Plan with Company Match\n\nAccording to the New York Pay Transparency law, pay range for this job is $25.00 - $43.00 / hour.
