With that said, there are primary job responsibilities and measurements of success for this position, which are:\nDriving stand-alone testing systems from concept through deployment.\nWorking with the Chemical Propulsion team to identify testing needs.\nCreating detailed designs for testing systems, both mechanical and electrical.\nWorking with vendors to fabricate custom parts.\nAbility to prototype, troubleshoot, and validate testing systems.\nMaintaining a clean work area and assisting in general facilities upkeep.\nOther responsibilities that may be needed from time to time to assist in business operations.\nAt all times, maintain Benchmark's outstanding reputation for operating at the highest levels of honesty, integrity, accountability, and transparency.\nEducation and/or Experience:\nA bachelor's degree or higher in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, electro-mechanical or related field of study.\n3+ years of experience with mechatronic system design experience (DAQ systems, test fixtures, test board development, testing software experience).\n2+ years of experience in mechatronic system design.\nStrong organization, record-keeping, and written/verbal communication skills.\nU.S. Person Requirement: Due to the nature of the work and access to export-controlled information, applicants must qualify as a U.S. Person under U.S. export control laws.
