Sr. Director of Front of House Operation

If you thrive in high-performance environments and are ready to make your mark on one of the most iconic restaurant brands in the world, we want to hear from you.Key ResponsibilitiesGM Coaching & DevelopmentServe as the primary coach and accountability partner for General Managers, providing real-time feedback, structured development, and ongoing performance support.Team Building & CultureDrive a strong, FOH-led culture by owning the full talent lifecycle and ensuring teams are engaged, aligned, and guest-ready.Guest ExperienceOwn the guest experience as a core KPI by setting hospitality standards and ensuring consistent, high-quality execution across all locations.Operational ExcellenceEnsure all restaurants meet service, cleanliness, and staffing standards by identifying gaps, solving root causes, and driving accountability.Financial PerformanceOwn the P&L across your portfolio, partnering with GMs to deliver against sales, labor, and EBITDA targets, and providing weekly updates to the VP of Operations.Cross-Functional CollaborationPartner with Facilities, People & Culture, and other teams to support restaurant performance and company-wide initiatives.Compliance & SafetyEnsure full compliance with all health, safety, labor, and operational regulations across all locations.Qualifications7+ years of multi-unit restaurant leadership experience with a strong FOH focus2+ years directly developing General ManagersStrong track record of delivering P&L results and operational performanceSkilled coach who builds high-performing, accountable teams; experience with succession planning and formal talent development frameworksStrong communicator with demonstrated ability to influence senior and executive leadershipExperience implementing systems and process improvements across multiple locationsStrong business acumen and ability to analyze performance dataProficient in Google Workspace and Microsoft Suite PreferredBachelor’s degree or equivalent experienceExperience in full-service, high-volume dining environmentsExperience leading FOH operations specificallyWhat You’ll BringA passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional guest experiencesA leadership style rooted in accountability, development, and collaborationThe ability to operate at scale while maintaining attention to detailA mindset focused on continuous improvement and operational excellenceAdditional RequirementsAbility to travel frequently and spend the majority of time in the fieldFlexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as neededAbility to operate in fast-paced, high-volume restaurant environmentsBenefits & PerksCompetitive compensation and bonus eligibilityMedical, dental, vision, and life insurance401(k) with company matchPaid time off and wellness daysEmployee meal discountsOpportunities for growth and internal promotionAbout UsDin Tai Fung is a globally recognized, family-owned restaurant brand founded in 1972, internationally renowned for its iconic Xiao Long Bao.
