SolarEdge places high value in providing best-in-class products and you will play an important part in achieving this goal!\r\nWhat you will do\r\nDiagnose and debug failing SolarEdge units from the production line, identifying defective components, circuitry issues, or assembly defects.\r\nSupport contract manufacturers (CMs) with on-line and off-line failure resolution.\r\nPerform structured failure analysis to determine root cause and provide clear documentation of findings.\r\nSupport the Quality team in validating corrective actions and preventing recurring issues.\r\nCollaborate with Hardware and Manufacturing Engineering to identify design, process, or reliability issues and recommend improvements.\r\nAnalyze actual and historical failure trends, provide early alerts preventing escapes and late failure detections.\r\nBring products from development into volume manufacturing.\r\nUse lab/testing equipment to evaluate units, verify hypotheses, and measure performance.\r\nContribute to continuous improvement efforts that enhance yield, reduce scrap, and strengthen hardware robustness.\r\nJob Requirements\r\n1+ year of experience in a high-volume electronics manufacturing environment.\r\nB.Sc. or M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering with experience in digital and power electronics design or 8+ years of practical experience in a HW troubleshooting and failure analysis role.\r\nStrong understanding of PCB and Circuit Design (digital, analog and power electronics).\r\nAbility to read schematics and drive PCB rework instructions.\r\nPractical experience analyzing power conversion topologies.\r\nExperience with lab/testing equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, power analyzers, etc.\r\nFamiliarity with manufacturing test processes (ICT, functional test, AOI, etc.)\r\nExcellent communication and collaboration skills.
