The person in this position must be able to roll their sleeves up and assist our teams when needed, living our “ONE TEAM. ONE VISION.” philosophy. This person must also provide innovative ways that align with our mission to be the best, most respected hotel company in America.\nThe job is simple:\nFocus on ways to promote and engage in internal growth programs.\nContinuously exemplify and live by our Culture.\nMeet/exceed our company goals and three metrics.\nComplete all required training\nAdhere to all standard operating procedures and property specific brand standards\nPerform any other duties as requested by management to aid in better operation of the hotel and service to the guests\nProvide personalized, friendly service to each and every guest\nGreet guests and respond to guest inquiries and requests in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner\nMix and garnish beverages according to recipe and portion control standards.\nPresent and serve beverages to guests\nCheck guests for proper identification and serve alcoholic beverages to guests in accordance with federal, state, local and company laws and regulations\nAccurately total, process and collect payments from guests to include, but not limited to, using the point-of-sale system, handling money, processing credit and debit cards, making change and processing gift certificates, cards, and vouchers\nStock and maintain the bar inventory\nEnsure product quality of all beverage-related perishables\nNecessary Skills:\nKeep confidential the business functions of the company including, but not limited to, financial status, customer/guest information, associate issues, etc.\nMust be responsible for safety and security of guests, fellow associates, and hotel assets\nHave knowledge of fire alarm system and evacuation procedures\nAble to report to all scheduled shifts\nAble to communicate effectively in writing, verbally, and in person\nAble to work a flexible schedule.
