{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"67b17f57d0d073a8640024e9","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/67b17f57d0d073a8640024e9","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/67b17f57d0d073a8640024e9","title":"Electronics Assembly Technician","description":"Responsibilities\n\n* Assemble, install, test, inspect, and troubleshoot mechanical spacecraft assemblies.\n* Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, specifications, and written assembly/integration/test procedures.\n* Perform second-party verification and visual inspections to ensure assemblies meet requirements.\n* Operate forklifts, overhead cranes, aerial lifts, transportation equipment, and other ground support equipment (GSE) as required.\n* Operate machine tools and equipment, including drill presses, grinders, chop saws, power tools, and hand tools.\n* Use precision measuring equipment such as micrometers, calipers, and dial indicators.\n* Work closely with Design and Manufacturing Engineering, Manufacturing, Materials, Procurement, and Shipping teams to resolve production and quality issues.\n* Support additional mechanical activities as business needs require.\n* Cross-train and mentor new employees.\n\nBasic Qualifications\n\n* High School Diploma or GED.\n* 5+ years of experience in structures, mechanical, electrical, and/or final assembly.\n* 3+ years following written and verbal work instructions.\n* 3+ years working with blueprints, specifications, assembly drawings, and SOPs.\n* 3+ years using precision measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and/or dial indicators.\n* 3+ years working with materials such as adhesives, composites, epoxy, fabrics, honeycomb core, laminates/plastics, or resins.\n* Ability to stand, reach, bend, and stoop for extended periods.\n* Ability to frequently lift 20 lbs. or more.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\n\n* 3+ years using structures hand tools, test equipment, torque wrenches, dial indicators, micrometers, sheet-metal brakes, and shears.\n* Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.\n* Experience working in a Class 100,000 cleanroom environment.\n* 5+ years building component-level space products such as avionics boxes, batteries, mechanisms, optics, PCB assemblies, or solar arrays.\n* 5+ years of mechanical troubleshooting, disassembly, and repair experience.\n\nPay: $34.00 -
