Visit peraton.com to learn how we're keeping people around the world safe and secure.\r\nAbout The Role We Are Hiring: Software Solutions Architect (Part-Time) We are seeking a talented Software Solutions Architect to support a critical Government initiative.\r\nThis part-time role offers the opportunity to work alongside a highly skilled team maintaining and enhancing a sophisticated private cloud infrastructure that interfaces with real-time, mission-critical internal systems.\r\nAs part of this effort, you will help integrate externally developed capabilities into internal operations, collaborating closely with two principal developers who oversee comprehensive cloud operations.\r\nKey Responsibilities: Develop and maintain applications using PHP, Python, C, and C++.\r\nSupport a real-time data enrichment and sharing infrastructure.\r\nWork across both web-based front-end systems and robust back-end ingestion/processing pipelines.\r\nAssist in absorbing and integrating external workflows into internal operations.\r\nCollaborate on OpenStack environments and virtualized cloud platforms.\r\nSupport Linux and Windows system environments.\r\nResearch and explore implementation of a self-sustaining AI engine within the OpenStack ecosystem.\r\nQualifications Required Qualifications: Bachelors Degree and minimum of 8 years of relevent experience.\r\nA current Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility and the ability to obtain a polygraph.\r\nTechnical Skills: Demonstrated proficiency in PHP, Python, C, and C++.\r\nExperience with OpenStack.\r\nStrong Linux and Windows system knowledge.\r\nFamiliarity with virtualization platforms.\r\nSoft Skills: Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities.\r\nTeam-oriented mindset with proven collaboration experience.\r\nCommitment to continuous improvement and operational excellence.\r\nAdaptability and drive for reform initiatives.\r\nPreferred Qualifications Experience working with AI systems and frameworks.\r\nBackground in AI implementation and deployment.\r\nKnowledge of AI/ML integration in cloud environments.\r\nDetails Target Salary Range: $86,000 - $138,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations.
