DescriptionIf you are friendly, dedicated, charming, and committed to high standards of customer service with attention to detail, we invite you to join our team. Hosts must be able to create a pleasant atmosphere by being attentive to customers both in person and over the phone. Warm, friendly hosts must leave a bright and welcoming first impression for our guests!Must be able to work a minimum of 3 shifts per week to include at least one weekend shift. Position runs from April/May through August, with the possibility of extension through October for local candidates. College students are welcome to apply for the summer term (May–August), though preference is given to candidates available April through October.AM & PM Flexibility Shifts are11:30 AM - 4:00 PM (AM Shift)4:00 PM - 9:00 PM (PM Shift)Host FunctionsAttends and Participates in all training sessions and team meetingsDevelop and maintain positive working relationships with others while listening and responding in an appropriate manner.Greeting guests with a warm smile to make them feel welcomeRing out members takeout ordersSeats guests and provides menus, following the appropriate rotationAnswers the phone politely and assists callers, including answering questions about the establishment and making reservationsManages and confirms all Open Table reservationsCater to the guests' requests and needs in a prompt and professional manner to ensure an overall superior level of customer servicePerforms all assigned side work and keeps host stand and lobby area cleanFollow instructions and adhere to all procedures and company policies while maintaining a high standard of conductNotifies and reports any problems or concerns to managementReports to the Restaurant ManagerRequirementsMust be at least 16 years oldWork permit required if under the age if 18Able to learn & perform basic of sale skills to ring members in member takeout ordersPossess a basic knowledge of excellent service standards, guest relations, food and beverage preparations as well as etiquette.Available to work weekends, evening shifts and major holidaysMandatory compliance with all safety regulations, procedures, policies and rulesRegular and predictable attendance.Arrives punctually in full uniform with a neat & professional appearance at all time Must be authorized to work in the United States
