As a key contributor you will be part of a leading team to drive and enhance AMD’s abilities to deliver the highest quality, industry-leading technologies to market.\nTHE PERSON:\nThe ideal candidate possesses an innovative and problem-solving mindset, has a keen eye for Software engineering development, and is diligent and passionate about Technology. A successful candidate will need to employ strong knowledge in computer technologies, leadership skills in technical areas, and SW engineering expertise as well as a strong ability to compete effectively in a fast-paced, relevant environment while working with different teams of engineers and collaborators.\n\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES:\nValidate new SW features at a system level before releasing them to customers.\nLeverage AI tools to accelerate software validation cycle.\nActive contribution to the day-to-day activities of the System Test in an Agile environment.\nWrite Test plans and review it with all stakeholders to cover the scenarios comprehensively and execute efficiently.\nBuild maintainable, high quality and effective automated test scripts.\nReview and triage test failures and verify fixes.\nHelp customer reported issues by reproducing the issue locally, work with peer teams for faster resolution.\nStay informed of software and hardware trends and innovations, especially pertaining to networking and accelerators.\nDebugging complex technical issues and collaborate with peer teams.\nDevelop technical relationships with peers and partners\nPREFERRED EXPERIENCE:\nStrong experience in Networking Testing and Automation roles.\nSolid understanding of AI tools and how to leverage them in a large-scale distributed environment.\nProficiency in writing Automation Scripts using Python Experience in various test tools, performance testing tools such as Ixia, etc.,\nSolid understanding of automation framework and well verse with Python.\nPrior experience in Cloud, Security, Data Center technologies is an added advantage\nStrong troubleshooting skills\nKnowledge of operating systems, kernel mode programming, device drivers, and related technologies and architectures\nGood interpersonal skills and effective communication\nAbility to write high quality automation code with a keen attention to detail\nGood understanding of Linux operating system and hypervisor (VMware ESX/KVM)\nExperience with software development processes and tools such as debuggers, source code control systems (GitHub) and profilers is a plus\nACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:\nBachelor’s or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent\n\nThis role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.\n\n#LI-RD1\n#LI-HYBRID\nQualifications:\nBenefits offered are described: AMD benefits at a glance.\n\nAMD does not accept unsolicited resumes from headhunters, recruitment agencies, or fee-based recruitment services.
