This role serves as the primary technical liaison between the customer and offshore development team, translating business needs into robust technical solutions while ensuring quality, scalability, and timely delivery.The ideal candidate is hands-on, technically strong across frontend, backend, and cloud integrations, and capable of guiding distributed teams with clarity and confidence.Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical Leadership & ArchitectureOwn end-to-end technical design and architecture across frontend, backend, and integrations.Define and enforce coding standards, TDD practices, and architectural guidelines.Make key technology and design decisions aligned with business and non-functional requirements.Review solution designs and critical code to ensure performance, security, and maintainability.Customer & Stakeholder EngagementAct as the primary technical point of contact for customers.Gather, clarify, and translate business and functional requirements into technical solutions.Present architecture, solution designs, and technical trade-offs to stakeholders.Manage technical risks, dependencies, and expectations proactively.Offshore Team LeadershipProvide technical direction and mentorship to the offshore Lead Developer and development team.Support task breakdown, estimations, sprint planning, and delivery tracking.Enable smooth collaboration between onshore and offshore teams.Ensure consistent execution and adherence to quality standards across teams.Technical ResponsibilitiesBackendDesign and guide development of RESTful APIs using Node.js and TypeScript.Support integrations with enterprise systems using ABAP and OData.Promote containerized deployments using Docker.Ensure consistent adoption of Test Driven Development (TDD).FrontendLead architecture and development using React and TypeScript.Drive frontend best practices for performance, accessibility, and reusability.Ensure frontend code quality through TDD and reviews.Integrations & Cloud Define and oversee CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.Lead deployment and operations on AWS:ECSOpenSearch LogsCloudFrontOversee API exposure and governance using Azure API Management (APIM).Ensure observability, logging, and operational readiness.Technical SkillsRequired Skills & ExperienceFrontend: React, TypeScript, TDDBackend: Node.js, RESTful APIs, TypeScript, ABAP, OData, DockerCloud & DevOps: AWS (ECS, OpenSearch, CloudFront), CI/CD, GitHub Actions, Azure APIMExperience12+ years of software development experience.3+ years in a Lead Developer / Tech Lead role.Strong experience in customer-facing and distributed team environments.Soft SkillsExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Ability to translate complex technical concepts into business-friendly language.Strong ownership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
