Position SummaryThe PBM Operations Business Product Owner (BPO) serves as the key interface and liaison between the business sponsor or client and technology counterparts to advance high ROI/efficiency, division-wide and enterprise-wide initiatives. This individual would have responsibility for the accuracy and comprehensiveness of business requirements of new and modified business applications and/or products.The Business Product Owner Also Serves As The Interface To The Technical Product Owners (TPO) For Business Applications, Product Or Client Requests ToContribute to business requirements for new and existing systems from ideation through production and project oversightParticipate heavily in:the extraction of requirements from business sourcesdiscussions with technical resources on business or client intent and requirementsskills to discuss, if not influence, technical design of associated applicationsthe ability to guide technical supportPrimary FunctionsParticipate in defining business requirements with business sponsors or clients, TPO and System Engineering teams for new and modified business applications, product, or client requestsApply Express Scripts project tools and methodologies to advance business applications, products, or client requestsProvide input and insight into technical design of new and existing business applicationsOwns the creation of epics to support analytic needsParticipates in essential meetings, ceremonies, and release planning conversations to ensure training or documentation resources support a successful adoptionCommunicate and report on progress regularly with business stakeholders or clientsPrioritize and manage workload and meet project deadlinesBusiness, technical and financial acumen applied to projects and portfolioKey QualificationsHigh school diploma requiredBachelor’s degree preferred5 years experience with program management or product owner preferredKnowledge of agile methodology preferredProficiency in Jira preferredBusiness, technical and financial acumen preferredAbility to operate within a fast-paced work environment a plusExcellent communication (oral and written), facilitation and presentation, skills requiredExcellent organization skills preferredProven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously requiredDemonstrated problem solving and organization capabilities preferredProven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work well within an ambiguous environment preferredIf you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 96,500 - 160,900 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.At The Cigna Group, you’ll enjoy a comprehensive range of benefits, with a focus on supporting your whole health.
