We’re providing better solutions for hotel companies as the world around us evolves and changes related to using technology, finding labor, and maximizing profits. Our mission is to empower the people that power hospitality. We give hoteliers actionable insights to know what to do, the tools to do it, and the visibility to know it worked. We bring together powerful hospitality tech solutions to maximize profits for more than 10,000 properties in hospitality markets around the world.\r\nOur Valued Behaviors\r\nStart with People: We are in the hospitality business and hospitality starts with people. This impacts both our being and our doing.\r\nBeing: We are responsible for building relationships, earning trust, and having fun. These things are fundamental to hospitality.\r\nDoing: We will succeed if we start with great people working as one team. Empower others, speak the truth with care, and go together.\r\nDemand Integrity: Be trustworthy, be ethical, and be consistent whether someone is watching or not. Demand integrity of yourself and others to build the fabric of a high-integrity organization.\r\nDelight the Customer: We aim to delight our customers in the same way our customers aim to delight their guests. The question is not if completed a process or hit a metric, the question is whether or not the customer is delighted.\r\nChampion Innovation: We compete in the game of change and win through innovation. Think big and then think bigger when it comes to the innovation required to tackle the problems our customers face daily.\r\nMake it Happen: We show up prepared, care about the details, and follow through. Don\\'t get distracted. Don\\'t stop at blockers. Don\\'t make excuses. Find a way and drive until it is done.\r\nIn This Role You Will\r\nAs the Technical Program Manager (TPM) you will serve as the execution quarterback for Actabl\\'s most critical Technology Modernization initiatives and to strengthen delivery across Product and Technology.\r\nThis is a high-impact, hands-on role for someone who thrives in complex, fast-moving environments — someone who drives things to Done, brings teams together, communicates with clarity (written, verbal, and in presentations) , surfaces and unblocks issues before they escalate, and is deeply detail-oriented without losing sight of the bigger picture.\r\nThe TPM is accountable for delivery outcomes, predictability, and execution discipline — and serves as a trusted operational partner to the CTO and CPO.\r\nEssential Duties\r\nPlatform Modernization — Program Execution\r\nOwn cross-team delivery for Actabl\\'s largest active engineering investment. Keep execution predictable as the program scales from 3 to 5–6 teams, a nearshore development partner is added, and integration dependencies increase.\r\nOwn cross-team program planning, sequencing, and dependency management\r\nDrive milestone tracking, risk identification, and early escalation\r\nProvide clear executive visibility into progress, risks, and tradeoffs\r\nPartner closely with Engineering Managers, Directors of Product, and the nearshore partner\r\nEnsure delivery remains predictable as complexity compounds\r\nEngineering Metrics Spine — Build and Operate\r\nOwn the build and operationalization of Actabl\\'s engineering metrics infrastructure. This is a diagnostic capability not just a reporting function.\r\nDrive Jira and Pluralsight Flow configuration changes to enable automated, accurate DORA metrics\r\nBuild and own the dashboard that surfaces delivery health to teams and executives\r\nTranslate raw metrics into meaningful signals for Executive reviews and Board level reporting\r\nUse metrics diagnostically — identify which teams have the highest rework, longest cycle times, or most deployment friction, and work with EMs to address root causes\r\nAI Enablement & Productivity — Own the Program\r\nLead Actabl\\'s Product and Technology AI tooling adoption program. This is a new, high-priority mandate that requires a forward looking owner.\r\nOwn adoption measurement, impact tracking, and quality guardrails across all AI coding tools (GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor, and others as evaluated)\r\nManage the AI Productivity Paradox: measure both velocity gains AND quality/stability impact to ensure AI adoption improves outcomes, not just speed\r\nBuild and run an internal champion network, enablement workshops, and governance structure\r\nPartner with Engineering Managers and the CTO to embed AI-native workflows into daily engineering practice\r\nPDLC Maturity — Consistency Without Heavy Process\r\nDrive consistent delivery practices across all four Actabl product lines (ProfitSword, ALICE, Hotel Effectiveness, Transcendent), which currently operate with significant variation. Use metrics to diagnose and improve — not just audit and report.\r\nDrive cross-team planning and surface platform dependencies across products. Use delivery metrics to identify systemic bottlenecks and drive targeted improvements team by team.\r\nChief of Staff — CTO and CPO\r\nServe as an operational partner to the CTO and CPO to keep strategic initiatives moving and leadership operating effectively. This is a sustaining, always-on workstream.\r\nPrepare and organize monthly Executive and OKR reviews, quarterly planning materials, and ASG board reporting\r\nDrive Product and Technology All Hands — content, logistics, and follow-through\r\nRun down cross-team issues, decisions, and blockers that don\\'t have a clear owner\r\nSurface and escalate delivery risks early, before they reach the CTO as surprises\r\nTrack open action items from executive meetings and ensure they close\r\nWhat Success Looks Like At 6–12 Months\r\nProfitSword modernization executing against a clear, trusted cross-team plan — on schedule into Hi-Tech\r\nEngineering metrics dashboard live, automated, and used in OPP and ASG reporting\r\nPDLC consistency improving across at least three product lines\r\nLeadership team spending less time chasing status and more time making decisions\r\nCTO and CPO operating with measurably better executive rhythm and preparation\r\nRequirements\r\nUnpacking What We\\’re Looking For\r\nMinimum Qualifications\r\n5+ years experience managing complex technical programs across multiple engineering teams.\r\nExperience leading modernization, migration, or platform transformation initiatives.\r\nDemonstrated ability to coordinate Product, Engineering, and Platform stakeholders.\r\nExperience implementing delivery metrics (DORA, cycle time, deployment frequency).\r\nStrong executive-level written and verbal communication skills.\r\nExperience working in high-growth or transformation environments preferred.\r\nTechnical Fluency\r\nModern cloud architectures and CI/CD pipelines\r\nService-based distributed systems, databases, and performance considerations\r\nQuality automation and reliability practices (DORA metrics, test coverage, deployment frequency)\r\nAI coding tools and their impact on engineering workflows and quality\r\nCommunication & Presences\r\nExecutive-level communication: concise, structured, credible\r\nAbility to influence without formal authority\r\nCalm, clear decision-making in complex and ambiguous situations\r\nIdeal Skills & Experience\r\n7–10+ years leading complex technical programs in SaaS or cloud environments\r\nProven experience coordinating work across multiple engineering teams\r\nBackground in large-scale modernization, migration, or platform transformation\r\nExperience partnering closely with Product, Engineering, Platform, and Data teams\r\nKey Competencies\r\nProgram Leadership & Cross-Team Coordination\r\nExecutive Communication & Presentation\r\nDelivery Discipline & Predictability\r\nSystems Thinking & Diagnostic Problem Solving\r\nInfluence Without Authority\r\nAI Enablement & Change Leadership\r\nData-Driven Decision Making\r\nRisk Management & Early Escalation\r\nOrganizational Cadence Building\r\nWork Environment\r\nThis is a hybrid position and will be part of our Denver office with an expectation of working three days (Tuesday-Thursday) in-office and two days (Monday & Friday) remote. Candidates located outside of the Denver Metro Area will be reviewed and considered if necessary.\r\nActabl Around The World\r\nWe are a hybrid friendly workplace with our main office in lower downtown Denver and with additional office hubs located in Atlanta & Tampa, and our remote based domestic & international employees support our hoteliers across the globe.
