General Manager

Job description:As General Manager, you’ll step into a hands-on training program (typically 4 weeks, depending on experience) and quickly learn every part of our operation—from dining room to kitchen. You’ll become a core member of the leadership team while gaining practical, role-by-role experience guided by both trainers and leadership.The GM is ultimately responsible for the overall success and growth of the restaurant. This role provides clear leadership, maintains high standards, ensures compliance with all policies and laws, and drives sales and profitability through strong systems and consistent execution. The GM also builds, develops, and retains a high-performing team that delivers exceptional quality, service, and cleanliness.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesOversee daily operations in alignment with company policies, standards, and applicable lawsEvaluate restaurant performance and provide actionable feedbackIdentify issues and implement effective, professional solutionsExecute approved operational and administrative processes to maximize sales and profitManage inventory and control costsRecruit, hire, train, coach, and develop a top-performing teamEnsure a safe work environment and maintain a well-kept facilityBuild strong management bench strength through ongoing developmentPartner with the Director of Operations and corporate resources to address opportunities and challengesDrive profitability through efficient practices, strong controls, and a safe, secure environmentOversee facility upkeep and preventative maintenanceLead with an entrepreneurial mindset, competitive drive, and positive energyQualificationsWilling to travelProven experience as a General Manager or similar leadership role in the restaurant industryStrong leadership, communication, and customer service skillsAbility to handle challenging situations calmly and professionallySolid understanding of food and beverage operations and industry trendsStrong financial management and budgeting skillsAbility to perform well in a fast-paced environment and make sound decisions under pressureEffective coaching and team development skillsAbility to motivate and communicate with employees at all levelsPassion for delivering great guest experiences and fostering a positive workplaceEducation and ExperienceBachelor's degree in hospitality management or related field (preferred); equivalent years of experience as General Manager or similar role is also acceptableMinimum of 5 years of experience in restaurant management requiredServSafe certification (required)Benefits:Employee discountFlexible schedulePaid time offPaid trainingWork Location: Onsite
