Must-Have Qualifications Education : Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Experience : 3+ years in data engineering , BI , or analytics . 2+ years in financial services or SaaS . Hands-on experience with dbt (Data Build Tool) and modern data modeling practices. Technical Skills : Strong proficiency in SQL (Redshift, Snowflake, Trino/Iceberg). Experience with BI tools like Tableau. Familiarity with Git for version control. Knowledge of Jinja templating and macros in dbt. Soft Skills : Strong communication skills to guide teams through infrastructure changes. Pragmatic approach to balancing speed and accuracy in data solutions.
