{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"67412e7c8b32b420cec9719b","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/67412e7c8b32b420cec9719b","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/67412e7c8b32b420cec9719b","title":"Assembler","description":"Job description\n\nGeneral Assembler in a Growing and Quality Environment -1st Shift\n\nExperience: Entry-level with experience\n\nDaily Function: Perform mechanical/electronic assembly by following all assembly procedures, specifications, drawings, and packaging requirements in compliance to company standards.\n\nUnder direct supervision, performs a variety of assembly tasks that require the ability to follow written and/or verbal instructions and a thorough knowledge of techniques, materials, tools, and equipment.\n\nEssential Functions:\n\nRefers to process documentation (drawings, travelers, BOM’s, and specifications) to perform assembly tasks\nMust become knowledgeable in the use of all basic assembly equipment in the dept.\nLearns and uses basic tools and fine hand tools.\nMust inspect all workmanship and special processes following the process documentation.\nPack and ready products for shipping as necessary\nShows commitment to quality and total customer satisfaction through dedicating skills to achieve zero defect status.\nUnderstands their role in following ISO 9001:2015 manufacturing standards.\nPerforms all necessary tasks efficiently and accurately by following established written procedures.\nMaintains an organized work environment necessary for the efficient operation.\nKeeps equipment and department neat and clean at all times.\nPerforms other related duties as directed to ensure efficient operations.\nTeamwork in a high paced environment to achieve excellence and continuous improvement.\nDetail oriented to achieve zero defects\nReliable transportation to be at work on a daily basis and ready to perform duties as necessary\n\nPhysical Requirements:\n\nMust be able to perform the essential functions as required. Need to have good eye and hand coordination with color perception.\nAbility to perform fine manipulation w/ hands, e.g. grasping & pulling at times\n\nWorking Hours:\n\nNormal work schedule is Monday through Thursday from 8am until 5:30pm and Friday from 8am until 12pm with lunch and breaks.
