This on-site internship offers hands-on experience supporting field operations, quality management, project administration, and construction execution activities on a major U.S. military construction project. This opportunity is ideal for students interested in gaining overseas construction experience, exploring international travel opportunities, and pursuing full-time careers supporting projects throughout the Pacific region and other global locations after graduation.\n\nLearning Opportunities:\n\nInterns will gain exposure to large-scale military construction projects, scheduling, quality control procedures, subcontractor management, and field execution in an international project environment. Participants will receive mentorship from experienced construction professionals while developing a comprehensive understanding of field-based project management. This internship offers valuable insight into overseas construction operations and potential career paths supporting projects throughout the Pacific and other international locations with potential full-time employment upon graduation.\n\nResponsibilities:\n\nSupport Project Manager, Superintendent, and Quality Control staff with daily construction operations\nAssist with field inspections and project documentation\nAttend client and subcontractor meetings and prepare meeting minutes\nSupport project tracking, reporting, and schedule updates\nAssist with subcontractor coordination and site logistics\nHelp maintain project records and electronic filing systems\nMonitor adherence to project safety and quality requirements\n\nSkills & Qualifications:\n\nPursuing a degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related discipline (3.0 GPA or above preferred)\nInterest in international construction\nProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, Excel, Word, Outlook)\nStrong analytical, organizational, and communication skills\nAbility to work collaboratively in a field-based construction environment\nStrong attention to detail and willingness to learn\nAbility to obtain a military base base if hired\nAbility to operate motor vehicle and clean driving record\nInterest in pursuing a full-time construction career supporting domestic and international projects after graduation\n\nECC's targeted hourly rate for this position i Guam is $25.00 per hour.
