It enables the modernization of ship maintenance by delivering integrated planning, engineering, materials, and execution data.\r\nResponsibilities\r\nConfigure and customize Microsoft Azure DevOps (ADO), including Azure Boards, Processes, work item types, and other ADO services to support Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodology, ensuring alignment with enterprise-level agile practices.\r\nManage source control systems, including branching and merging strategies, primarily using Git Repos.\r\nCollaborate with development, testing, and operations teams to foster effective communication and a smooth, efficient workflow.\r\nCreate and maintain documentation for standard operating procedures and help educate software development teams on ADO and Git best practices.\r\nSupport the broader NMMES team goals to automate SDLC processes, encourage innovation, and capture related metrics.\r\nQualifications\r\nRequired\r\nActive Secret clearance.\r\nAbility to work on-site full-time at Norfolk, VA facility.\r\nMinimum of 7 years of experience working in software engineering or application deployment.\r\nAt least 5 years of experience as an Azure DevOps Administrator or similar role.\r\nStrong knowledge of version control systems, especially Git.\r\nRelease package and deployment coordination.\r\nKnowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies.\r\nExcellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities (e.g., ADO, Git, build failures).\r\nDemonstrable experience in designing, implementing, optimizing, and managing CI/CD pipelines.\r\nProficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell.\r\nDesired\r\nExperience in creating and managing automated pipelines and build servers.\r\nExperience with SAFe and in-depth knowledge of configuring Azure DevOps to support SAFe processes and events.\r\nFamiliarity with integrating Azure DevOps with other platforms, such as ServiceNow.\r\nExperience with programming using the Azure DevOps API.\r\nProficiency with containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes (AKS).\r\nExperience with configuration management tools.\r\nSAFe certification (SAFe DevOps Practitioner, Leading SAFe for Government, etc).\r\nWhat You Can Expect\r\nA culture of integrity.
