We're looking for someone who has enough exposure to electrical construction to understand its tools, materials, terminology, and basic installation practices—and who is excited to learn how to turn that knowledge into engaging digital training.\n\nYou'll work alongside experienced electricians, subject matter experts, instructors, and curriculum developers to create training used by electricians and apprentices.\n\nIf you enjoy electrical work but have wondered whether your interests in technology and creativity could lead to a different career path within the electrical industry, this position may be for you.\n\nWhat You'll Do\n\nBuild interactive electrical training and digital learning experiences.\nCreate presentations, case studies, assessments, graphics, diagrams, videos, and other training content.\nWork with experienced electricians and subject matter experts to capture their knowledge and turn it into effective training.\nResearch electrical concepts, equipment, installation methods, and NEC requirements.\nUse established templates and processes to develop apprenticeship and technical training.\nCapture and edit photographs and videos of electrical installations, tools, equipment, and demonstrations.\nHelp create real-world scenarios based on situations electricians encounter in the field.\nAssist with Journeyman exam preparation, electrical code, safety, theory, and installation training.\nLearn and use eLearning development software, multimedia tools, AI, and emerging learning technologies.\nReview and improve existing curriculum based on apprentice, instructor, and SME feedback.\nParticipate in field visits to capture real-world examples and continue developing electrical knowledge.\nHelp explore new ways technology can improve how electricians learn.\n\nWhat We're Looking For\n\nSome experience or education in the electrical trade; approximately 1–2 years of field experience is ideal, but not required.\nBasic familiarity with electrical tools, materials, terminology, and construction practices.\nStrong interest and aptitude for computers and technology.\nCuriosity and willingness to learn new software.\nCreative problem-solving ability.\nStrong attention to detail.\nGood written and verbal communication skills.\nInterest in teaching, training, design, or content creation.\nDesire to continue learning the electrical trade.\n\nThings That Would Get Our Attention\n\nYou don't need professional experience with these.
