Inspired Options is a humanservices agency making a meaningful difference in the lives of adults withautism and other intellectual /developmental disabilities in Maryland.\r\nFLSA Status: Exempt\r\nHours: Full-Time, reports to theDirector of Programs\r\nReporting to this position\r\nThe Program Manager is responsible for the supervision of up to8 licensed residential units (housing up to 16 adults with intellectual /developmental disabilities), house managers, and direct support professionalswho work with the individuals in the supported caseload.\r\nMajor Responsibilities/Activities The Program Manager will oversee the coordination and management ofDirect Support Professionals and day services for individual with intellectualdisabilities. The primary mission of the Program Manager is to oversee andensure the quality and comprehensiveness of services for the individuals weserve. This requires that the Program Manager knows the individual andunderstands his/her needs, strengths, and preferences. The Program Managerunderstand the \"big picture\" of all Inspired Options needs to do tofulfill its obligations, works with Inspired Options staff and individuals tocarry out the agency's responsibilities. The Program Manager collaborates witharea agencies, state agencies, family members, guardians, medical and mentalhealth providers, and others in the community to make sure individuals aresafe, their particular needs are met, and their lives are as rich andfulfilling as possible.\r\nOther Responsibilities Maintainstrong, respectful relationships with the individuals in supportedcaseload.\r\nEnsurethat the health and safety needs of individuals who receive services aremet consistent with COMAR, Centers for Medicaid Services, Maryland Boardof Nursing regulation, accreditation standards, and Inspired Options policiesand procedures.\r\nUnderstandthe various roles of Inspired Options staff and works collaboratively.\r\nDemonstrateexcellent planning skills and have reliable follow through skills.\r\nRespondto incidents in a timely manner.\r\nAttend and monitoragency's participation in annual Person Centered Plan meetings\r\nWork closely with theRecruiter to schedule, interview, and hire new staff\r\nEnsure that staff arescheduled for shifts, and that staff are using Inspired Options' timemanagement system.\r\nEnsure thatappropriate documentation is completed as scheduled in the agency's recordkeeping systems, including electronic record system\r\nConduct unannouncedvisits to homes\r\nBeon-call 24/7 for assigned homes.\r\nOtheradministrative tasks and duties as assigned.\r\nMinimum Requirements & Experience AssociatesDegree preferred, plus two years of experience in the field ofdevelopmental disabilities and one year of supervisory experience.\r\nMust have a valid driver's license and an acceptabledriving record as determined by criteria established by the Agency'sinsurance carrier and Agency policy.\r\nExcellent interpersonal,organizational and communication skills.\r\nComputer skills\r\nThe position comes with a competitive benefits package thatincludes: Medical, dental, and visioninsurance\r\nPaid sick / personal days\r\nLife insurance\r\nShort and long-term disability\r\nFocus on ongoing professional development\r\nOpportunities for advancement\r\nCovid-19 Consideration Inspired Options has adopted a COVID-19 vaccination policy tosafeguard the health and well-being of our employees and individuals wesupport.
