This candidate drives cybersecurity initiatives aligned to the NIST Cybersecurity Framework, partnering with security, technology, and business stakeholders to deliver risk-aligned capabilities that strengthen the firm's ability to identify, protect, detect, respond to, recover from, and govern cyber threats.\n\nThe candidate partners with key stakeholders to define project scope, document requirements, develop roadmaps and guide projects from concept through implementation, resolving issues along the way to land each initiative firmly into business as usual operations.\n\nThe ideal candidate combines information security fluency, analytical judgment and disciplined project management skills, using Jira and Confluence to create structure, visibility, alignment, and accountability.\n\nKey Responsibilities - Project Management\n\nProject Delivery - Plan, track and deliver projects assigned that may be related to the following domains within the InfoSec team:\n\nCloud and AI security\nCyber incident defense\nThreat and vulnerability management\nIdentity and access management\nData protection and data loss prevention\nGovernance, risk and compliance\nAnalysis and Documentation\nResolve ambiguity, clearly defining what is in scope and what is out of scope\nDocument and gain stakeholder consensus on requirements and success criteria\nIdentify pre-requisites, risks and interdependencies\n\nPlanning\n\nTranslate requirements into roadmaps and delivery plans\nIdentify and secure necessary resources\nSet key milestones, delivery timelines and decision points\nDetect issues early and navigate to resolution.\nEscalate when needed to protect delivery commitments\n\nProcess and Tools\n\nUse Jira and Confluence at an expert level to maintain quarterly and sprint planning\nMaintain project structure, dashboards, and stakeholder visibility.\nCommunicate and coordinate within InfoSec and cross functionally with delivery partners and stakeholders.\nProduce work artifacts such as meeting notes, executive summaries, decision materials and status reports.\nTeam Player\nModel a collegial and accountable working style that earns trust and keeps teams aligned.\n\nBasic Qualifications:\n\n7 years of experience working in Cybersecurity\n7 years of Project Management experience\n5 years of experience with Jira and Confluence\nBachelor's degree required.\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\n\nCertifications – PMP, CISSP, Security+, Scrum Master\nExperience within the Financial services space\nStrong organizational, analytical and documentation skills\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills\nUnderstands cybersecurity concepts, principals and embraces the culture of securing our business without deterring progress.\nDetail-oriented and organized, keeping track across concurrent and competing priorities.\nExercises good judgment and an instinct for identifying issues before they deter progress.\nEffectively synthesizes and articulates concepts and information verbally or in writing, while tailoring the message according to the audience.\nTakes initiative and follows through on assignments, with an eye for continuous improvement on how work gets done.\nCurious and committed to continuous learning, especially as security, cloud, and AI capabilities evolve.\nElicits diverse perspectives, establishes common ground, and guides teams toward durable solutions.\nCollegial, collaborative, and respectful, with a service-oriented approach to supporting the firm and its people.\n\nEvolver is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
