Our distributed team has extensive experience in building and operating critical machine learning systems at leading tech firms.\r\nThe Realtime Data team develops high-performance online infrastructure supporting AI inference at over 100K QPS with millisecond latency, serving mission-critical enterprise applications.\r\nThis role is open to candidates near our hubs in San Francisco, New York City, and Seattle.\r\nResponsibilities\r\nDevelop and communicate a clear 18-month technical vision to align and guide the team\r\nArchitect and implement solutions to scale our serving platform to handle millions of requests/sec with low latency and high availability\r\nEnhance Tecton's query execution engine to support complex, multi-stage queries with user-defined DAGs\r\nBuild an integrated observability solution with logs, metrics, and traces for operational excellence\r\nDeploy our serving infrastructure across multiple cloud platforms, ensuring security and data residency compliance\r\nAssess and prioritize tasks with a focus on performance-critical areas\r\nQualifications\r\n7+ years in programming, debugging, and performance tuning of distributed or highly concurrent software systems\r\nDegree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience, with strong infrastructure skills\r\nExperience with Database Query Engines\r\nExperience with AWS or GCP\r\nExperience with low latency online storage like DynamoDB, Redis, BigTable\r\nExperience with data warehouses like Snowflake, BigQuery, or object storage like S3\r\nThe estimated US base salary range is $216,000 - $258,000 annually for employees in California & New York, with additional benefits and competitive equity.
