Position Overview: The Jeanette C. Rudy School of Nursing & Health Professions is seeking a personable and highly motivated Graduate Assistant to work 20 hours each week primarily assisting with various operations and projects that are specific to the School of Nursing & Health Professions.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Assemble student applicant files under the supervision of the Dean and Executive Assistant to the Dean.
Input student information into the database systems.
Place student applicant files into the correct filing cabinet location.
Serve as the backup to the Executive Assistant to the Dean to provide coverage, answering incoming phone calls, directing guests, documenting maintenance needs, etc.
Assist with administrative projects.
Assist with recruiting events.
Serve as a liaison between students and advisors throughout the School.
Proctor exams in coordination with the Office of Disability Services.
Other duties as assigned at the discretion of the Dean and Executive Assistant to the Dean.

Must have a 3.0 or above overall GPA
Must be enrolled in a graduate program at Cumberland University
Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
Must possess a high level of discretion
