You will perform these duties manually or with the assistance of equipment such as trucks and forklifts to fulfill orders.\nDuties and Responsibilities:\nLoad and unload materials in a timely and safe manner.\nReceive, unpack, check, and store merchandise or materials, entering them into the warehouse management system.\nAccurately count items, record data manually, and report any damages, shortages, or quality deficiencies.\nInspect and identify any wear or defects in stock items, reporting findings to a manager.\nVerify inventory counts by comparing them to physical stock counts and report discrepancies.\nMaintain and update records and reports on inventory levels.\nUse hand trucks, forklifts, or other equipment to transport materials to and from trucks or designated areas.\nStage materials, products, parts, and supplies for various workstations.\nEnsure the organization and cleanliness of the production area and warehouse.\nPack, crate, and ship products and materials as needed.\nStock and store items in an orderly and accessible manner to maintain a safe environment.\nInspect machinery and equipment for maintenance needs and perform regular safety checks.\nOperate forklifts to pick, stock, and receive shipments of materials.\nMay be required to operate a company vehicle for retrieving stock from suppliers.\nTrain and mentor less experienced Material Handlers (Level I and II).\nPhysical Demands and Abilities:\nAbility to lift up to 50 pounds.\nAbility to stand, bend, twist, walk, sit, and occasionally reach or squat.\nAbility to perform physical tasks that include lifting, pushing, pulling, grasping, and gripping.\nWorking Conditions:\nWork may be indoors or outdoors, depending on assignment.\nIndoor environments may include exposure to cold, heat, dust, fumes, and machinery.\nOutdoor environments may expose employees to rain, extreme temperatures, and loud noises.\nSafety equipment such as glasses, gloves, and hearing protection will be required.\nSalary Range:\nMaterial Handler - $20-$34 per hour (depending on experience and level hired)\nAll applicants' experience will be evaluated, and salary will be determined based on the level offered at the time of hire.\nLocation:\n4737 Toomes Rd, Salida, CA 95368\nAvailable Benefits:\n401K\nMedical, Dental, Vision, Life, FSA, Aflac\n9 Paid Holidays\nOther Information: This job description provides a general overview of the key duties and responsibilities associated with the position.
