Together, we advance your career.\r\nTHE ROLE\r\nWe are seeking an early-career engineer to design and implement data-driven automation solutions that eliminate manual reporting, tracking, and analysis workflows across manufacturing and operations programs.\r\nThis role focuses on data automation, analytics, and reporting pipelines. The successful candidate will replace spreadsheet- and email-based workflows with automated, reliable, and scalable reporting solutions that enable faster decision-making and improved execution visibility. In addition, this role will assume PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) analytics and execution ownership for the department, ensuring lifecycle data, milestones, and deliverables are visible, traceable, and consistently managed to ensure product launch quality.\r\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES\r\nData & Reporting Automation (Primary Focus)\r\n\r\nIdentify manual, recurring data workflows used amongst the Board Operations program management team\r\nDesign and implement automated data pipelines, dashboards, and reports to replace manual processes\r\nEnsure data accuracy, consistency, and traceability across multiple sources\r\nBuild solutions that support:\r\nDaily operational reporting\r\nProgram and exec-level summaries\r\nTrend and performance analysis\r\nMaintain and continuously improve automated solutions as programs evolve\r\n\r\nPLM Data Ownership & Execution\r\n\r\nAct as the department-level owner for PLM execution data and reporting\r\nEnsure lifecycle milestones, deliverables, and gate readiness are tracked and visible\r\nPartner with program managers and engineers to keep PLM data current and actionable\r\nSupport adherence to PLM processes through data quality, dashboards, and reporting, not administrative enforcement\r\nInterface with centralized PLM tools and analytics platforms as needed\r\n\r\nCross-Functional Program Support\r\n\r\nPartner with manufacturing, operations, test, supply chain, and program teams to:\r\nDefine reporting needs\r\nValidate metrics\r\nImprove clarity and consistency of data usage\r\nTranslate ambiguous questions (\"Where's the bottleneck?\" / \"What's blocking output?\") into structured, automated data views\r\nProactively surface risks, gaps, and trends through data - not manual escalations\r\n\r\nREQUIRED EXPERIENCE\r\n\r\nProficiency with automation, scripting, or dashboarding tools (e.g., Snowflake, Python, SQL, Power Automate, Power BI, Excel automation, etc.)\r\nExperience working with data-heavy operational or engineering environments\r\nDemonstrated ability to automate manual data or reporting workflows\r\nStrong analytical thinking and comfort working with imperfect, evolving datasets\r\n\r\nPREFERRED EXPERIENCE\r\n\r\nPMP certification\r\nExperience with:\r\nData automation, scripting, or ETL workflows\r\nManufacturing, operations, or NPI data\r\n\r\nACADEMIC CREDENTIALS\r\n\r\nBachelor's degree in:\r\nData Science\r\nIndustrial Engineering\r\nManufacturing Engineering\r\nComputer Engineering\r\nor related field\r\n\r\nThis role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.\r\nLI-CJ2\r\nBenefits offered are described: AMD benefits at a glance.\r\nAMD does not accept unsolicited resumes from headhunters, recruitment agencies, or fee-based recruitment services.
