The Controller will report into the CFO and will have sole responsibility for a business entity with a revenue of $60m per annum.\n\nThe position offers very strong progression with a clear path into Director of Finance and eventually into a group role.\n\n*The key responsibilities of the Controller will include, but will not be limited to:*\n- Oversee the day-to-day financial operations of the entity including monthly financial reporting.\n- Completion of the monthly close including production of the financial statements.\n- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.\n- Conduct account reconciliations and account analysis to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data.\n- CAPEX reporting.\n- Perform financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.\n- Build meaningful busniess relationships with Plant Managers and operational leads.\n- Develop and maintain forecasting models to support business planning and decision-making\n- Manage the general ledger and ensure proper recording of transactions.\n- Coordinate the annual budgeting process and provide ongoing budget monitoring and analysis.\n- Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support for strategic initiatives.\n\n*Qualifications and experience desired include but are not limited to:*\n\n- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA designation preferred).\n- Manufacturing industry experience is essential.\n- Proven experience as a Controller or similar role.\n- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.\n- Proficiency in financial management software and MS Office Suite (particularly Excel).\n- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.\n- Ability to effectively communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.\n- Strong organizational and time management skills.\n- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.\n- Be willing to work onsite in Milton (NY 12547) 5 days per week,\n\nThis is a great opportunity for any one in a finance leadership position with manufacturing experience, to join a highly respected and successful owner managed business in Milton.
