Fixture Design Senior Manager
Position: Fixture Design Senior ManagerPay Range: $113,200 – $172,600 annuallyLocation: Dublin, CAPosition Overview:We are seeking an experienced Fixture Design Senior Manager to lead the design and development of retail store fixtures supporting new store openings, remodels, and capital improvement projects. This role will oversee a team of managers, engineers, and project leads while collaborating closely with internal business partners and external vendors to deliver high-quality fixture solutions on time and within budget.The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership experience, retail fixture design expertise, and a proven ability to manage complex cross-functional projects from concept through rollout.Key Responsibilities:Lead and manage a team responsible for the design and development of store fixtures for new stores and existing store projectsEnsure all fixture designs meet business and technical requirements including cost, durability, structural integrity, functionality, and overall appearanceReview fixture designs throughout development, testing, and rollout to ensure compliance with standards and quality expectationsConduct post-installation store visits to evaluate fixture performance and identify improvement opportunitiesPrepare and present project updates, recommendations, and design findings to senior leadershipMaintain organized design review processes, prototype approvals, and fixture documentationOversee project plans, timelines, issue tracking, budgets, and deliverables across multiple programsPartner with vendors to monitor project progress, resolve issues, and minimize delaysServe as primary point of contact and escalation lead for vendors, internal teams, and field partners regarding fixture design projectsSupport prototype costing, vendor selection, RFPs, and Statements of Work in partnership with Strategic SourcingDrive continuous improvement in design quality, operational efficiency, and cost savingsQualifications:Minimum 7+ years of leadership experience, preferably in a retail environmentBachelor’s degree in Design, Engineering, Business, or related field preferredStrong experience leading complex design or development projects from concept to implementationExpertise in fixture design, testing, optimization, and rollout of customer-facing systems or componentsProven track record improving operational efficiency, performance, and cost managementAdvanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Teams, and OneDriveStrong communication and presentation skills with the ability to clearly explain complex conceptsExceptional project management, problem-solving, and analytical skillsAbility to thrive in fast-paced, changing environmentsPMP Certification is a plusCore Competencies:Building Effective TeamsDeveloping TalentCollaborationLeadership & AccountabilityConflict ManagementEffective CommunicationPlanning, Prioritization & Execution
