Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Veterinary Internal Medicine Specialist located in Winter Haven, FL. The specialist will provide comprehensive internal medicine services including diagnostics, treatment planning, and patient care. Responsibilities include collaborating with general practitioners and other specialists, performing advanced procedures, and offering support in critical care cases. The role also involves client communication to educate and support pet owners in the management of their pets' conditions. Qualifications Expertise in veterinary medicine, including internal medicine and primary careSkills and experience in critical care nursing and handling complex medical casesProficiency in specialty areas such as cardiology and other advanced diagnosticsExperience working collaboratively with veterinarians and veterinary healthcare teamsStrong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with pet owners and team membersDoctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree and board certification in Internal Medicine or equivalent specialtyCommitment to providing compassionate and high-quality care to patients and their familiesAbility to work on-site in a high-paced, team-oriented environment
