You will work within a multi-discipline team to develop efficient and reliable structural design packages for power generation facilities. This position offers flexibility, allowing you to work in-office or in a hybrid setting at one of our office locations throughout the United States.\n\nResponsibilities\n\nDevelop structural designs for new power generation facilities or retrofit existing ones.\n\nDesign concrete and structural steel support structures, including foundation design for combustion and steam turbine dynamic analysis.\n\nCollaborate on the design of control buildings and ancillary structures.\n\nEnsure compliance with industry codes and standards such as IBC, ASCE, ACI, AISC, and OSHA.\n\nUtilize software such as Smartplant, Revit, Tekla, Civil 3D, and AutoCAD for structural design and drafting.\n\nEssential Skills\n\nBachelor of Science degree in Structural Engineering.\n\nProfessional Engineer (PE) license is required.\n\nMinimum of 10 years of experience in civil and structural designs for power generation facilities, particularly thermal power.\n\nProficiency with FEM structural analysis programs such as RISA or STAAD.\n\nStrong understanding of dynamic analysis and seismic response spectra analysis.\n\nAdditional Skills & Qualifications\n\nExperience with Smartplant 3D, Revit, Tekla, Civil 3D, and AutoCAD.\n\nStrong client focus with excellent interpersonal communication skills.\n\nAbility to work effectively in a team environment and take ownership of projects.\n\nGood knowledge of Microsoft Office, Windows, and MS Outlook.\n\nWork Environment\nThe work environment is flexible, with options for fully remote work. Candidates local to office locations are preferred, and there is a preference for those in the West Coast timezone, though candidates across the country, including those with TN-Visa/Status, are welcome.
