Details Inpatient acute care rehabilitation setting with possible outpatient referrals SNF-level and rehab hospital patient populations Performs Modified Barium Swallow (MBS) Studies independently in radiology EMR system is Epic; training in documentation provided Day shift schedule, 5 days per week with likely inclusion of one weekend day Floating to another facility may be required depending on census and staffing Requirements Active Hawaii SLP license required by start of assignment; license required if applicable ASHA certification required Current BLS/BCLS certification required Minimum 2 years of experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist, preferably in SNF or rehab hospital settings Acute care experience required Independent and proficient completion of Modified Barium Swallow Studies in radiology without radiologist supervision required Additional Information Provides speech therapy services in an inpatient rehab and acute care setting, with possible outpatient referrals Conducts Modified Barium Swallow Studies independently in the radiology department Orientation to the rehab area and training on Epic EMR documentation will be provided All travelers must report to Employee Health 48–72 hours prior to the start of the assignment; plan to arrive in Hawaii the Thursday before a Monday start to attend a Friday Employee Health appointment Scrubs or attire per facility dress code policy required American Traveler Job ID P-713203.
