Operations Manager / Construction Superintendent – Water Feature & Landscape Construction

The Pond Digger is one of the most recognized water feature construction companies in the country. We design and build high-end koi ponds, waterfalls, lakes, and aquatic ecosystems.Our projects combine landscape construction, plumbing, rock placement, excavation, and ecosystem design.We are looking for a highly organized and experienced Operations Manager / Superintendent to oversee construction operations and ensure our crews are set up to succeed.This role is responsible for coordinating crews, materials, schedules, and job progress so projects run smoothly, efficiently, and on time.If you thrive in a fast-paced construction environment and enjoy building systems that keep teams accountable and productive - we want to talk with you.ResponsibilitiesOversee daily construction operations across multiple projectsCoordinate crew scheduling and job timelinesEnsure materials and equipment are prepared prior to job startTrack job progress and ensure projects stay on scheduleWork with the office team to organize job folders and documentationCommunicate with crew leaders and ensure accountabilityReview pull sheets and materials for accuracyMonitor job completion timelines and crew productivityHelp maintain a smooth workflow between retail, warehouse, and construction teamsIdentify problems before they become delaysSupport leadership in improving systems and efficiencyRequirementsMinimum 5 years experience in construction, landscape construction, or similar fieldExperience managing crews or supervising job sitesStrong organizational and scheduling skillsAbility to read job scopes and coordinate materialsComfortable communicating with crews, office staff, and leadershipAbility to manage multiple projects at onceStrong problem-solving skillsValid driver's licensePreferred ExperienceLandscape constructionHardscape installationPond or water feature constructionPlumbing or irrigation systemsEquipment operationConstruction scheduling or project management softwareMust be able to pass a background check and/or drug screening.Salary: $23 - $30 per hourJob Posted by ApplicantPro
