Support ranges from clerical and logistical matters to document production and the effective use of office applications in our Bloomington office.\n\nThe EA responds promptly, thoughtfully, and effectively to changing work environments, changing priorities, and new situations. Additionally, the EA possesses the skills and ability to communicate effectively and appropriately with internal resources, clients (where applicable), and other parties in a global and virtual working environment. The EA is integral to the efficient workflow within the office environment.\n\nCommunicates in person and through correspondence with high level contacts inside and outside the company such as vendors, customers, and senior leadership.\nSchedules and coordinates meetings, conference calls, and other events. Informs attendees of function dates and times, reserves meeting space, and provides hospitality services as needed in these meetings.\nMaintains and manages calendars; including heavy coordination of travel arrangements and itineraries.\nBook international/domestic travel and submit expenses for the local leadership team.\nMakes copies of correspondence and other printed matter.\nEnsures adequate office supplies.\nProcesses purchase requests for additional office supplies as needed.\nActive approval management support – including but not limited to Coupa, IT, Workday, Travel.\nAssist with e-mail gating and prioritization.\nAct as a key resource for the team, i.e., independently seek out answers to questions, take initiative, leverage network of resources to solve problems and proactively cascade knowledge.\nAssist with on-boarding of new hires in the GSM Business Unit; submit service tickets and follow up on equipment delivery.\nOther duties as assigned.\n\nSkills and experience that will lead to success\n\n5+ years of experience as an Administrative Assistant, Clerical Associate, Receptionist or related position providing Corporate Administrative Support\nHigh School Diploma, GED or equivalent years of related experience\nProficiency with Microsoft Office.\nHigh energy, positive attitude, willingness to go the extra mile to ensure success.\nEasily embraces change, flexible, adapts well to changing priorities.\nPoise, confidence, and maturity to engage with all levels of management across the firm.\nHighly organized with ability to prioritize and work on multiple projects at one time.\nAble to prioritize daily workload, be proactive, flexible and respond to requests promptly.\nAttentive to details and possess strong follow-up skills.\nExcellent writing and communication skills.\nSelf-directed and able to anticipate team needs.\nExcellent communication skills, written and oral.\nAble to excel in a fast paced, detail-oriented environment.\n\nAon offers a comprehensive package of benefits for full-time and regular part-time colleagues, including, but not limited to: a 401(k) savings plan with employer contributions; an employee stock purchase plan; consideration for long-term incentive awards at Aon’s discretion; medical, dental and vision insurance, various types of leaves of absence, paid time off, including 12 paid holidays throughout the calendar year, 15 days of paid vacation per year, paid sick leave as provided under state and local paid sick leave laws, short-term disability and optional long-term disability, health savings account, health care and dependent care reimbursement accounts, employee and dependent life insurance and supplemental life and AD&D insurance; optional personal insurance policies, adoption assistance, tuition assistance, commuter benefits, and an employee assistance program that includes free counseling sessions.
