Other duties may be required and assigned.\n\nPerforms a variety of carpentry task in the construction and maintenance of buildings.\nInstalls and repairs electrical outlets, circuits, switches, fans, and lighting fixtures.\nInstalls and repairs plumbing fixtures, water and drainage lines, and sewage disposal fields and plants.\nPaints and decorates interiors and exteriors of buildings.\nMakes repairs and adjustments to laundry, heating, refrigeration, and air conditioning units.\nOperates and utilizes a wide variety of tools and equipment such as assorted hand tools, table saws,\nskill saws, hand drills, drill presses, pipe cutters, pipe threaders, welding torches, cutting torches, and\nvoltage testers; may operate a pick-up truck or other vehicle in getting to and from the job.\n\nFollows safety protocols and uses personal protective equipment as necessary.\nPerforms grounds duties and/or custodial duties as required by supervisor.\nMay keep simple records and make routine reports such as time expended, and materials used.\nMay provide training to other staff as necessary.\nThe applicant selected for this position must complete full background checks including fingerprinting.
