Data Modeler

The Data Modeler is responsible for designing, developing and managing the data models thatsupport operational, real-time and analytical applications. The Data Modeler will work in acollaborative team environment to assess requirements, define data modelling strategy anddeliver solutions.The Data Modeler must also have a strong hands-on experience in designing data model andmapping with strong Healthcare domain and Operational Insights knowledge.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign/Develop/Maintain data models (including Business/Conceptual, Logical and Physical models) that support operational, real-time and analytical applicationsCreate optimized data designs that facilitate consistency, reuse and ensure efficient storage and retrieval and limit data duplicationsDeveloping models in IBM IDA, ERStudio, ERWin toolsUse data modeling to create a common language with visual references to describe data and its relationships across business domainsDesign and map business entities/attributes across Operational Insights HubDesign and map logical/physical entities/attributes for Operational Insights HubQualification & Skills RequiredBachelor's or Master's degree preferably in Computer Science or Information Technology or related field10+ years of experience in data and analytical engagements with at least 5 years in data modeling roleHealthcare Domain Experience RequiredAdvanced knowledge in data modeling techniques such as Business process Model, Entity Relationship, dimensional modeling, data vault, etcImplementation experience in cloud architecture patterns particularly in GCPStrong SQL and programming language experienceExperience in Git, Jira and Confluence toolsComprehensive knowledge of agile development methodologiesHands on experience in IBM IDA, ER/Studio, ERWin toolsDemonstrated experience modelling for Datawarehousing, operational store and real time applicationsStrong Data Architecture experienceExposure to Solar Winds, Tanium/Forescout, Market Ops tracker ServiceNow systems and underlying dataAbility to collaborate across multiple work locations/teamsAbility to deliver on ambiguous projects with incomplete informationAdvanced verbal / written / presentation skills
