This position assists the Dispatch Supervisor with administrative tasks and customer engagement to ensure that Transdev is meeting and exceeding our operational goals in dispatch and providing outstanding customer service.\r\nTransdev is proud to offer\r\nPosition Subject to Collective Bargaining Agreement\r\n\r\n\r\n$20.00 - $25.56 (Union Collective Bargaining Agreement Pay Scale)\r\n\r\n\r\nStarting pay $20.00 with progression to 25.56 over 5 years.\r\n\r\n\r\nBenefits include\r\n\r\nVacation, sick leave, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401k retirement, company holiday. Available after 90 calendar days of employment for full-time employees.\r\n\r\nBenefits may vary depending on location policy.\r\nKey Responsibilities\r\n\r\n\r\nStaff Development: Support the dispatch supervisors by fostering a positive working environment. Ensure that best practices in customer service and leadership are upheld.\r\n\r\n\r\nCommunication and Conflict Resolution: Maintain regular communication with the Dispatchers and Dispatch Supervisors to ensure customer issues and requests are addressed promptly and acceptably\r\n\r\n\r\nScheduling Assistance: Assist Dispatchers and Dispatch Supervisors in monitoring and addressing same day schedule adherence by working directly with customers via phone, chat and text to provide accurate ride information; identify and reschedule passengers who are a good fit for alternative transportation services. Ensure that passenger trips are correctly recorded and updated in Trapeze and communicated to the alternative vendors.\r\n\r\n\r\nBackup Support: Provide backup support for dispatch duties as needed without compromising primary administrative responsibilities.\r\n\r\n\r\nIssue Escalation and Reporting: Proactively identify and escalate issues outside normal operating parameters to Dispatch Supervisors, ensuring timely resolution and minimizing impact on service quality.\r\n\r\n\r\nCross-Departmental Support: Assist other departments as needed, demonstrating flexibility and a collaborative spirit to ensure overall organizational success.\r\n\r\n\r\nOther duties as required.\r\n\r\n\r\nQualifications\r\n\r\n\r\nExperience in dispatch and/or reservations.\r\n\r\n\r\nStrong administrative, organizational, conflict resolution, and communication skills.\r\n\r\n\r\nAbility to work closely with, and support both the Dispatch Supervisors and the Dispatcher sin day-to-day operations.\r\n\r\n\r\nProficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with paratransit operations.\r\n\r\n\r\nAbility to communicate clearly and concisely both verbally and written form\r\n\r\n\r\nAbility to work effectively and harmoniously in pressure situations with fellow employees, supervisors, dispatchers, and bus operators to attain the best possible transit service for customers.\r\n\r\n\r\nKnowledge of Trapeze preferred\r\n\r\n\r\nAbility to operate standard office machines including but not limited to copy machine, printers, scanner, computer, telephones.\r\n\r\n\r\nSubject to a DOT drug testing and physical if applicable.
