Key Responsibilities:Implements and executes an established patient treatment plan under the supervision of a licensed Occupational TherapistCommunicates with patients, families, referring physicians, and other members of the teamProvides timely written documentation per facility and department requirementsDevelops and enhances clinical and professional skills through knowledge and professional associationsProvides timely written documentation as required by insurance provider to meet licensing, certification, regulatory, reimbursement requirementsSupports and participates in department operations and developmentReports any changes in patient status or needs to supervising therapist on a timely basis Qualifications:Graduate of an approved Occupational Therapy Assistant curriculumMust be a licensed Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant in the state of OregonIn good standing with all regulatory agencies and licensing boardsWorking knowledge of Medicare and other payer sourcesFull knowledge of resident's rightsExudes professionalism in presentationMust be able to read, write, speak, understand, and communicate in English fluentlyMust have a current and active CPR/BLS Certification Avamere is an Equal Opportunity Employer and participates in E-Verify
