About the RoleAs an Associate Maintenance Technician at Landus, you will support the maintenance team in ensuring the proper functioning of equipment and facilities. This entry-level role focuses on performing routine maintenance tasks, assisting with repairs, and learning the fundamentals of facility maintenance. You will develop technical skills and gain experience in troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems under the guidance of more experienced team members.What will you do?Assist with routine repairs and maintenance of facility equipment, machinery, and infrastructure.Perform basic preventive maintenance tasks such as lubrication, inspections, cleaning, and minor adjustments under the direction of senior technicians.Support troubleshooting efforts by identifying and reporting equipment malfunctions or irregularities.Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs in accordance with company procedures.Follow all company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and facility procedures while performing maintenance duties.Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean, organized, and safe condition.Communicate maintenance needs and equipment issues to leadership and operations personnel.Assist with facility upkeep, including minor building repairs and general maintenance tasks.Support operational teams by responding to maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner.Participate in training and skill development to expand technical knowledge and maintenance capabilities.Assist in maintaining preventative maintenance schedules and ensuring work orders are completed on time.RequirementsHigh school diploma or GED required.Technical training, vocational education, or coursework in maintenance, mechanics, electrical systems, or related field preferred.0-2 years of maintenance, mechanical, or industrial experience preferred.Basic understanding of hand tools, power tools, and mechanical equipment.Ability to learn troubleshooting techniques for mechanical and electrical systems.Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices.Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.Strong communication and problem-solving skills.Willingness to learn and develop new technical skills in an industrial environment.Licenses: This position requires the safe operation of a motor vehicle to perform the essential functions of the job.
