{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"6686818a49c9080ffa3ef44f","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/6686818a49c9080ffa3ef44f","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/6686818a49c9080ffa3ef44f","title":"Assembler","description":"Growing company in Dexter is hiring a full time, day shift Production Assistant!\n\nYou will perform various repetitive bench or assembly operations to mass-produce products requiring precision using hand tools, microscope, small power tools, or soldering equipment.\n\n*Monday-Thursday: 7:00AM-4:30PM and Fridays: 7:00AM-11:00AM*\n\nDuties:\n\n* Builds product per build plan from room coordinator in preparation for shipping to customer.\n* Communicates with the room coordinator on any orders or tasks that will not be met per the build plan as soon as possible.\n* Inspects products to verify conformance to specifications and makes setup and adjustments of machines.\n* Trains new employees on work and safety procedures and conducts retraining and cross training per the room coordinator.\n* Recommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product to ensure our customers always receive an excellent product.\n* Monitors and suggests changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase manufacturing efficiency of team.\n* Assists and supports co-workers in any department to confirm deliveries to our customers will be on time with quality that meets or exceeds their expectations.\n* Informs room coordinator when available to assist in other work areas.\n* Maintains time and production records and may input such data into the system.\n* Participates in the annual department inventory and resolves inventory discrepancies on a daily basis.\n* Other duties as assigned\n\nQualified candidates must have a high school diploma or GED and small assembly experience.
