Responsibilities include the preparation, scheduling, coordination, forecasting, resourcing and monitoring of assigned engineering projects to ensure the projects overall accuracy and quality.\n\nParticipates in planning, coordination, procurement, and management of the overall design and engineering process.\nEnsures that engineering designs follow all applicable regulations and safety standards.\nIdentify and correct daily operational problems and take necessary action.\nIdentify changes and variations to the works under the Contract and ensure these issues are recorded, tracked, and otherwise managed in accordance with the Contract.\nCollect information and prepare daily reports on underground mine development.\nProvide technical support, quality, and environmental control of the works in accordance with the contract specifications and the relevant statutory regulations.\nSchedules project activities in conjunction with the Engineering Manager.\nPrepares weekly and monthly mine development forecasts.\nPrepares construction and fabrication drawings and supports construction crews to ensure that work done meets technical requirements.\nAddress and troubleshoot daily activity issues needing action.\nConducts cycle studies and estimates performance rates.\nEnsure compliance with legislation, regulations, policies and procedures as related.\nPrepare and review of change order requests and determine the technical requirements for implementation the changes.\nEnsure that all construction is drafted, and specifications determined prior to the associated construction activity.\nEnsure that all work is completed to acceptable technical and quality standards.\nAttend meetings and interact with client representatives.\nTours work areas to ensure that quality and scope of work is being accomplished.\nCompiles redline drawings to ensure drawing register is up to date with current as-built conditions.\nIf required to operate a company vehicle during the course of employment, must meet the requirements to be an eligible user of company vehicles. Must possess a current State Driver’s License and acceptable driving record.\nResponsible to keep work areas safe and free of hazards. Performs Field Level Risk Assessments.\nMust be able to comprehend written and verbal instructions as required to perform his duties in a safe and efficient manner.\nComply with daily, weekly and monthly safety directives, policies, and procedures.\nMaintain confidentiality with respect to Redpath and client information.\nComplies with and ensure compliance with Redpath’s Policies and Procedures as detailed in the appropriate manuals, handbooks, directives, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).\nAble to work in excess of 40 hours a week, overtime, day and nights, weekends, holidays and shift rotations.\nCompliance with Redpath Core Competencies is an essential duty and responsibility.\nThe duties and responsibilities listed above are representative of the nature and level of work assigned and are not necessarily all inclusive.\nOther duties and responsibilities as assigned.\nMinimum Duties and Responsibilities:\n1.
