This role involves specimen processing, test execution, quality control, and accurate reporting of results while ensuring compliance with regulatory and safety standards.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform routine and manual laboratory testing using automated and semi-automated systemsHandle specimen collection, processing, and preparation according to SOPsAnalyze, review, and release laboratory test results accuratelyOperate, monitor, and maintain laboratory instruments and equipmentAdhere to quality control (QC) and quality assurance protocolsDocument calibrations, maintenance, and corrective actionsIdentify and troubleshoot issues affecting test performance; escalate when necessaryReport critical values in accordance with laboratory proceduresMaintain compliance with CLIA, HIPAA, OSHA, and safety guidelinesEnsure proper labeling, storage, and expiration tracking of reagents and test kitsMaintain accurate records of all laboratory activitiesParticipate in training, competency assessments, and departmental meetingsMaintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory environmentRequired QualificationsAssociate's Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology orBachelor's Degree in Biology, Chemistry, or related field1–3 years of clinical laboratory experience (preferred)Strong ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environmentKnowledge of laboratory procedures, safety standards, and regulatory complianceStrong attention to detail and analytical skillsAssignment Details• Location: Erie, PA 16509• Employment Type: 15 Week Contract (Traveler)• Shift: Night Shift• Timings: 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM• Schedule: Rotating weekends and holidaysAbout PRIDE HealthPRIDE Health is the minority-owned healthcare recruitment division of Pride Global—an integrated human capital solutions and advisory firm.
