The Controller plays a critical role in managing and developing the financial staff. The Controller is directly responsible for the financial health of the division and its compliance with financial regulations and company policies. The Controller provides financial leadership and guidance to support the division’s performance and profitable growth objectives.\nResponsibilities:\nDirects financial affairs of a division of an organization, including period end close, financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.\nPrepares and analyzes financial reports, including income statement, balance sheet and management reports.\nEnsures compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and company policies.\nMonitors and analyzes financial performance, identifying areas for improvement and cost savings.\nManages the division’s financial systems and controls to ensure accuracy of financial data.\nCoordinates with other departments within division and at parent company to provide financial support and analysis for decision-making.\nOversees the division’s financial audits and tax compliance activities.\nServe as financial lead for division goals, special projects and initiatives, including developing and implementing financial strategies.\nProvides financial leadership and guidance to division management and staff.\nSupervise and mentor the finance and accounting staff of the division.\nMinimum Qualifications:\nBachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.\nTen or more years of experience in accounting or finance, with at least five years in a managerial role.\nStrong knowledge of financial principles, practices, and regulations.\nProficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, financial reporting systems and ERP software.\nCompensation Details:\nThe expected salary for this position is $125,000 - $175,000 annually depending on experience.
