The candidate is expected to work closely with other developers, making efficient and effective use of AI-assisted development tools, to drive application development for Yield Book product suite, including Excel Add-In, Structuring Tool and API. The Yield Book is a fixed income analytics system widely used by financial institutions and this position plays a vital role in the development of our products.\n\nMain Responsibilities\n\nDesign and develop fixed income analytics applications, used by front office for trading and investment decision-making\nImplement and enhance the Structuring Tool for securitized products, used for Securitized Product analysis and marketing\nMaintain and modernize the existing codebase while preserving product stability\nUse AI coding assistants and agentic tools to accelerate development, testing, and code understanding\nPartner with product management and client service teams to solve product issues and deliver new features\nCreate unit tests and integration tests to ensure software meets requirements\nWork closely with the Quality Engineering team to ensure the high quality of the deliverables\n\nEssential Skills and Experience Required\n\nAn advanced degree (master’s or higher) in a quantitative field such as Financial Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Engineering, Mathematics, etc.\nExcellent programming skills in one of the languages (C/C++, .NET, Java or Python)\n1 to 3 years of financial industry experience or academic training\nHands-on experience using AI coding assistants (e.g. GitHub Copilot, Claude, Cursor) in real development work\nStrong code review skills applied to AI output — quickly assessing, validating, refining and testing AI-generated code\nExperience with automated testing and version control\nStrong teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams\nExcellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues\nWillingness to learn and develop deep financial knowledge\n\nCareer Stage:\n\nSenior Associate\n\nCompensation/Benefits Information:\n\nLSEG is committed to offering competitive Compensation and Benefits. The anticipated base salary for this position is $98,500 - $164,100.\n\nPlease be aware base salary ranges may vary by geographic location, city and state. In addition to our offered base salary, this role is eligible for our Annual Incentive Plan (AIP/”bonus plan”). Target AIP rates will be commensurate with role level and posted career stage. Individual salary will be reflective of job related knowledge, skills and equivalent experience.
