In this hands-on role, you'll be responsible for assembling components and products according to precise specifications, ensuring quality and efficiency at every step. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and take pride in your craftsmanship, we'd love to meet you!\n\nWhat You'll Do\n\nAssists the lead operators on production line equipment efficiently while maintaining Environmental, Health, Safety, Quality, and Production standards.\nPromotes and follows all EHS and Quality guidelines and procedures.\nPerforms minor set-ups, cleaning and general operation of various filling and packaging machines.\nAbility to accurately account for production quantity, process scrap, production time, and traceability practices by filling out a daily production log.\nRecommends safety improvements as needed\nEnsures all housekeeping and equipment standards are met.\nAssists in training temporary workers to pick/place/pack/palletize.\nAble to conduct basic operation of cardboard baler, plastic baler, compactor, carton erector, pallet jack, and taper/tape gun.\nProvides support and assistance to other line teams as needed.\n\nWhat You Bring\n\nHigh School Diploma/GED preferred.\nNo previous experience is necessary, on-the-job training will be provided.\nMust be able to speak, understand, read, and write English.\nMust be able to perform simple math calculations.\nMust be computer literate.\n\nWhy Permatex?\nWe're more than just a manufacturer-we're a team dedicated to quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
