If you are dependable, compassionate, and enjoy building meaningful relationships with clients and families, we would love to meet you.What Will You DoAs a Staffing Coordinator/Caregiver you will provide essential daily support to both our staff and clients.Staffing Coordinator Responsibilities (not Inclusive) Assign and schedule field staff to provide care and services for patients, in any “zone”, as directed by the Program Coordinator. Ensure that all caregiving staff have the necessary information to properly care for the client, including but not limited to, demographic information, directions, stated needs or requests and care plan Answer phone calls from field staff and patients; appropriately handle or refer the call and document follow-up, and/or resolution of the situation. Responding promptly and courteously to all patient/client inquiries or problems. As well as getting the Program Coordinator involved whenever necessary. Provide patients or families with accurate schedules no less than monthly and follow-up regarding: coverage, call-offs and cancellation of staff and keeps the Program Coordinator appraised of all such issues and completes notes documenting resolutions within the computer system Tracking attendance and communicate issues and concerns to the Program Coordinator for follow-up and documents in the computer system. Assist with hiring and orientation of new team members as directed by Program Coordinator Maintain confidentiality of all information in accordance with state/federal regulations, company policy and HIPPA requirements. Available for on-call via telephone to cover during weekends, holidays and after office hours Be available by phone for all staffing concerns/questions.Our caregivers provide essential daily support and companionship to our clients. Responsibilities may include:Assisting with personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting)Helping with mobility and transfersLight housekeeping, laundry, and bed linen changesMeal preparation and assistance with eatingMedication remindersTransportation or errandsProviding companionship and emotional supportAs a staffing coordinator/caregiver you may also do meet and greets, staff call offs and see new clients at the start of care.This position may staff open shifts throughout our service territory.Why Join AW Health Care? Must be 18 years or olderHigh School or Diploma or GED, preferredValid driver’s license and reliable transportationAuto insurance coverage, requiredAbility to work every other weekendAt least 2 years of professional caregiving, CNA, or home care experienceMust have colostomy, foley catheter and experience with mechanical devices, eg, lifts, requiredExperience with dementia or Alzheimer’s care is a plusPhysical RequirementsAbility to lift and carry up to 25 lbsAbility to stand, walk, bend, squat, and kneel for extended periodsAbility to climb stairs and reach overheadComfortable working in homes with pets or smokersAbility to use proper safety equipment (gloves, masks, etc.)Ability to read and follow care instructions and safety guidelines
