Business Development Outside Sales Account Manager
Summary of Position:
The Business Development Outside Sales Account Manager is responsible for development of new business through a consultative, solution development approach. Responsibilities include establishing and maintaining profitable business-to-business relationships on behalf of the company, actively prospecting for new accounts, and maximizing sales potential with existing customers. The Business Development Manager is responsible for proactive involvement in the business community networking groups as determined by the center owner as a strategic component of the overall center sales development plan.
Primary Responsibilities:
· Prospecting for new customers, developing new business, targeting key prospects and retain business.
Lead management, sales appointments and order follow through.
Present and discuss the products and services of the company in a way that conveys an image of quality, integrity and superior understanding and fulfillment of customer needs.
Understand and comply with the consultative sales philosophy/program in place.
Develop annual sales strategy in conjunction with management / sales support specialist and identify joint marketing opportunities where applicable.
Remain current on industry trends and new technology through review of key trade magazines and resources as agreed upon with management and sales support specialist.
Good math and organizational skills;
Ability to read blueprints and have basic mechanical understanding;
Knowledge of sign construction, materials, and installation methods is a plus;
Communicate effectively with management, and the marketing and production teams, informing and updating them regularly to guarantee that sales and customer objectives are met.
Follow systems and procedures as outlined in the company manuals.
Participate as a key team player by supporting operations as needed.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
