For this position, we are seeking a talented individual to join AIS as a Lead Software Engineer.\r\nCore Knowledge & Skills: Operates independently or as a team lead, selects appropriate persistence technologies (e.g., EF, Dapper), defines source control strategies, and designs subsystem infrastructure.\r\nWork & Complexity: Tackles complex problems with thorough analysis, manages cross-functional delivery, and improves system reliability and scalability.\r\nQuality & Independence: Consistently meets deadlines even under challenging conditions, enforces standards through detailed reviews, and establishes productivity benchmarks for the team.\r\nTeamwork & Communication: Provides functional leadership by setting objectives, organizing resources, resolving conflicts, and engaging confidently with both internal and external stakeholders.\r\nConsulting & Engagement: Troubleshoots advanced client issues, supports requirements gathering, and contributes to vendor presentations or proposal activities.\r\nProject Summary\r\nAIS is supporting federal customer with a program focused on architecture and infrastructure.\r\nKey Responsibilities\r\nDevelop, create, analyze and modify software using different technologies for various cloud platforms.\r\nSupport implementation, integration and maintenance of cloud-based software applications.\r\nDesign or customize software for client use with the aim of optimizing operational efficiency of cloud solutions and implementations.\r\nConsidered an emerging authority, who applies extensive technical expertise.\r\nDevelops technical solutions to complex problems.\r\nExercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignment.\r\nRequired For This Opportunity\r\nBachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).\r\n8+ years of relevant experience supporting enterprise cloud and/or infrastructure environments.\r\nCertifications: IAT-2, 1 or more cloud certifications.\r\nActive Secret clearance (or higher).\r\nExperience working in regulated environments and following secure engineering / documentation practices.\r\nAbility to work in a hybrid role at sites near Boston, MA.\r\nNice to Have Skills\r\nExperience supporting DoD/IC programs and mission systems.\r\nAt AIS, we are committed to offering competitive and fair compensation that reflects the skills, experience, and contributions of each team member. The targeted base salary range for this role is $117,000-$177,000 per year. Please note that this range is provided as a guideline and the final offer will be based on several factors, including but not limited to, skillset and competencies, level of experience, education, certifications, and location.
