Critical thinking and troubleshooting skills are required!\r\nPosition Responsibilities:\r\n• Develop and maintain requirements, architecture, algorithms, interfaces, and design for high-performance Command and Control (C2) software solutions.\r\n• Lead software development activities in the scaled agile methodology utilizing a DevSecOps environment. Supporting software development activities and integrating completed software components into a fully functional software system.\r\n• Support progress demonstration presentations to customer representatives and program/IPT leadership.\r\n• Perform day-to-day activities in the areas Product Owner/Technical Lead, Release Train Engineer/Scrum Master, and/or Integration & Test lead.\r\n• Support IPT by implementing a structured approach to defining and meeting a development and integration schedule alongside a rigorously managed cost baseline.Required Skills:\r\n• Bachelors Degree\r\n• 5+ years of experience with software development for space systems and ground segments performing command, control, mission planning and data processing\r\n• 5+ years of experience in the Software Development lifecycle (including Requirements Analysis, Design, Code, Integration & Test)\r\n• 3+ years of experience leading software development projects\r\n• 3+ years of experience with software development using either Java, C++, or Python\r\n• Experience working in an Agile software development environment and DevOps methodologies\r\n• Requires the ability to obtain a DoD Secret ClearancePreferred Skills:\r\n• Experience as a Product Owner/Technical Lead and/or Integration & Test Lead for government programs.\r\n• Understanding of Command and Control (C2) systems, real-time applications, and their specific requirements.\r\n• Experience with database technologies (SQL/NoSQL), messaging systems (e.g., Kafka, ActiveMQ), and data streaming technologies (e.g., CCSDS).\r\n• Familiarity with containerization tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration platforms.\r\n• Strong experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines in GitLab to automate testing, builds, and deployment workflows.\r\n• Experience with various formal acceptance testing activities (e.g., Formal Qualification Test -FQT, Factory Acceptance Test - FAT, Site Acceptance Test - SAT)\r\n• Active TS/SCI or DoD Top Secret clearance.\r\nMust be U.S. Person for purposes of Export Compliance.
