This position works closely with engineering, quality, and production teams to ensure parts are produced accurately, efficiently, and safely while meeting customer specifications and production schedules.\nRequirements:\n\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\nDevelop, write, and modify CNC programs for milling, turning, and multi-axis machining centers.\nInterpret engineering drawings, blueprints, CAD models, and GD&T requirements.\nCreate tool paths using Mastercam CAM software (experience with other CAM software will be considered)\nSelect appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, feeds, and speeds to maximize efficiency and quality.\nPerform program prove-outs and troubleshoot machining issues during first article production.\nOptimize cycle times while maintaining product quality and dimensional accuracy.\nCollaborate with machinists, engineers, and quality personnel to resolve manufacturing challenges.\nSupport new product introductions and continuous improvement initiatives.\nVerify completed programs and ensure documentation is accurate and up to date.\nAssist in designing and improving fixtures and tooling.\nMaintain program revisions and document process changes.\nEnsure compliance with company safety policies and manufacturing standards.\nSupport lean manufacturing and continuous improvement efforts.\nQualifications\nMinimum of 3–5 years of CNC programming experience in a manufacturing environment.\nAssociate degree or technical certification in Manufacturing Technology, CNC Programming, Machining, or related field preferred.\nExperience programming CNC mills and Lathes.\nExperience with programing multi-axis machining centers is a plus.\nStrong understanding of machining processes.\nAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T.\nExperience with CAM software such as Mastercam, Fusion 360, NX, or similar.\nKnowledge of G-code and M-code programming.\nFamiliarity with precision measuring instruments including calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and CMMs.\nExperience with ERP/MRP systems is a plus.\nStrong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.\nSolidWorks experience is a plus.\nKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities\nExcellent attention to detail and accuracy.\nStrong organizational and time management skills.\nAbility to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.\nEffective communication and teamwork skills.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office applications.\nAbility to work independently with minimal supervision.\nPhysical Requirements\nAbility to stand and walk for extended periods.\nFrequently lift up to 30 pounds; occasionally lift up to 50 pounds with assistance.\nAbility to bend, stoop, reach, and work around manufacturing equipment.\nManual dexterity to operate machinery and measuring equipment.\nMust be able to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).\nWork Environment\nManufacturing production environment with exposure to machine noise, moving mechanical parts, and coolant.\nSafety glasses, steel-toe shoes, hearing protection, and other PPE are required.\nThis job description is intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by individuals assigned to this position.
