The ideal candidate will help promote state-of-the-art IT solutions, collaborating with IT mission partners to share technology and lessons learned to ensure records management processes and requirements are included in the early design stages of IT solutions.\n\nTS/SCI with Polygraph required Day 1\n\nAdditionally, this individual will work in concert with the customer technical interfaces to ensure future plans for technology are in line with the overall customer architecture.\nThis position requires the candidate to:\nDevelop software applications as web services that are written in Java unless otherwise directed by Sponsor. Examples include Node JS and Angular with Typescript, and Springboot with Hibernate and messaging; Java (Groovy on Grails); Scripting languages.\nDevelop and maintain software applications as web services that interact with data stored in Postgres, MySQL, and other relational databases and/or Cloud technologies such as AWS.\nDevelop, upgrade, and maintain APis and search with REST-like APis to communicate with other software applications and databases as required by Sponsor.\nUtilize XML, JSON, or other Sponsor standards for data transfer and metadata management.\nHas experience writing SQL queries.\nImprove search and website usability and accessibility by leveraging enterprise capabilities.\nThe candidate must have detailed experience with AWS and all of its resources (or least its main ones EC2, S3, and RDS), as well as very familiar with Cloud formation to create and maintain AWS resources. The candidate must also have experience with programming in an Object Oriented Programming language, preferably in Ruby, Python, or NodeJS. The candidate must have experience with using the AWS SDK in any of its supported languages: Ruby, Python, Java, NodeJS, etc.\nThis person must be willing to help in all cases as well as be familiar with architectural best practices.
